The part of a record used for a particular
category of data. For example, the title field in a database record displays
the title for the record.

Folio
An oversized book, too large for normal
shelving. Folio call numbers begin with an F.; for example, F. 912 R15C (The
Commercial Atlas and Marketing Guide). Folios are generally housed in special
